'Debunking five myths about Boston' was an interesting articlewith a fairly lame [argument that Boston is not] the best sportstown. I have lived and traveled across the country. Fans in warm-weather cities show up late and leave early - too many otherdiversions.
So, that leaves us the cold-weather cities. While other citiesmay boast fanatical support for individual teams, no other city hassupport across all four sports close to the level that Boston does.We fill the joint or come close to it even when our teams stink.
Throw in the fact that our teams are perennially among the topteams in their respective leagues, and no other city is really evenclose.
